The other two are much weaker in comparison, considering the frog suit in Cooling Sprints is heavy to use with directional launching and motion controls. Meanwhile, the monkey suit in GPU Jungle is very frustrating to use outside of the cool swinging action due to the weird timing and its usage of the motion controls. The DualShock 3 was the PS3’s main controller, and the first PlayStation controller to be wireless (well, sort of; see below). During the passage of the next levels of the game, you will come across a lot of bots. You can stop them in their tracks by attacking them with fists or lasers in your legs. You can also go through the levels from the start and collect the coins that are renewed there. Some children might feel frustrated with different game levels or obstacles. Talk to them about recognising when it’s time to take a break and turn their attention somewhere else.
Shoot this box to break it, then pull the wire to reveal this artifact. Puzzle Piece 1/4 – Right at the start of the level, look down and to the left to see a group of three of the spinnable flowers. Spin all three to raise the platform they are on, revealing this puzzle piece. Artifact 1/2 “PS2 Multitap” – Shortly after that puzzle piece there will be an area you can go into on the left behind some purple vines. Light the fuse at the bottom with your ship thrusters to reveal this artifact. Puzzle Piece 1/4 – As soon as the level starts, turn around and head back across the platforms to find this puzzle piece.
Astro’s Playroom launched over four years ago, but developer Team Asobi has since released a few updates for the fan-favorite game. Astro’s Playroom lets you control Astro on a 3D platforming adventure across 4 different components of the PlayStation 5. You can go through Memory Meadow, a cloudy realm of wind and storms. Or visit the Cooling Springs, featuring a beach party setting and a surprise ice level later. You can also visit the GPU Jungle, which, as the name implies, is more of a jungle ruin to play around in, and the SSD Speedway with its neon sci-fi backdrop.
On another table in the Labo area is a purple dragon surrounded by red Gems. This is a reference to 1998’s Spyro the Dragon on PS1, developed by Insomniac Games. Spyro’s wings notably use the inaccurate anatomy present in the original game; later titles gave it correct bat anatomy. Horizon has a second reference with the “Ready for the Proving” Trophy, awarded for shooting a Spitter’s shot with the bow and arrow in Raytrace Ruins. Um Jammer Lammy gets a second reference in the “It’s All in the Mind” Trophy, awarded for beating three enemies quickly with Punches. This is a reference to Chop Chop Master Onion, who gives Lammy this piece of advice early in the game.
Astro’s Playroom: Trophies And Platinum
From the checkpoint instead of continuing upwards, follow the path of coins down to the right to enter another asteroid with this puzzle piece inside. Puzzle Piece 4/4 – After landing from the above hang glider section, go to the back left of the platform and drop down to find a lower area with this puzzle piece. Puzzle Piece 3/4 – In the third hang glider section you will need to avoid a number of mines that appear in the air. Just before reaching the platform at the end, a puzzle piece will appear directly in the middle of the area that you need to grab before landing. Puzzle Piece 4/4 – After defeating the boss, go halfway across the newly revealed tightrope and look to the right. In a hole in the wall, you can see a spot to shoot, and when you do it reveals a new platform that has this puzzle piece at the end.
Memory Meadow Artefacts
It can also be paired with a second Access Controller and a DualSense, which can all act as a single controller input. The PS VR Processor Unit was a box that both the PlayStation 4 and PSVR connected to. It enabled Social Screen video output to the TV, which meant it adjusted the VR headset’s display so that it was viewable on a television. This also allowed it to be used with asymmetrical multiplayer modes such as those used in The Playroom VR, and handles normal 2D content. A revised version of the Processor Unit allowed for HDR passthrough, which was a feature added to all PS4s via firmware.

Artifact 2/2 “PlayStation Game Disc” – After jumping the gap with the bowling pin in front, go to the right across the pair of moving platforms to find this artifact. Puzzle Piece 1/4 – Once in the main area where you are rolling around as a ball, this puzzle piece is underneath a bridge to the left. Puzzle Piece 2/4 – You will progress through a path of electrified mines to a checkpoint.
